Noticing the (very) little things

Stop and smell the roses, right? That’s what we’ve been told. Slow down, take the time to notice. I have found myself noticing more and more, from raindrops on roses ( if you’re so inclined you may have sung that) to insects on irises. I stop. I kneel down, I zoom in ridiculously close, hold my breath and click. I photograph during long walks, in the parking lot at work, in my yard, anywhere I won’t be accused of trespassing. It’s become a Zen for me.

I hope you’ll find a place in your heart and on your favorite products for my photos.
