Artist's Description

Lady Mariah Magdalena

A lot of my paintings are inspired by books & articles I read.
While reading them a make small sketches and the rest is developing itself on the canvas.

Lady Mariah Magdelena was inspired by a gnostic article about the “dead scrolls”. And her significant Devine role in it.

Somehow I can’t help to feel a deep connection with her character and presence in history and life.

The roses are inspired by the book of Dan Brown “the Da Vinci Code”.

I like to paint mosaics. They turn up in many of my paintings. For me it’s a great way the experience with colours.
