Hi.
I’ve been taking images since I was 14 when Santa bought me an Olympus 35RC and I try to have a camera on me at all times.
I thank my father for teaching me the technicalities of photography, but more importantly he taught me to open my eyes and “see”. To “see” the beauty that surrounds us permanently. Over our heads and below our feet, from the enormity of the skies, to the macro world of the insects eye. When we look, and see, there is never a dull moment. Always so much to observe, to watch, and perhaps to record.
I’m probably in the midst of my mid life crisis as my family and I have recently moved from England to France and then in the next moment I take voluntary redundancy from my job of 19 years! hhhmmm, it must have been time for a change.
I discovered this wonderful community of RedBubble in november 2009 and have found it so encouraging and inspiring. It’s incredible to find so much talent here on one site.
Thank you for taking the time to dip into some of my images and I like to think that perhaps with a bit more practice, I can be worthy of a place here at RB. Hey, give me a chance, I’ve only been at this photography malarky for 32 years. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it eventually. (I’m ever the optimist).
