Artist's Description

Photochrom was a type of lithograpy popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s. It was a technique used to make an ink-based lithograph look like a photograph. This example is called “Gursuff – The Crimea Russia”, printed circa 1890. Picture of a boat on the shore of a body of water.
