Artist's Description

Why is it endangered?
What was happening in the world when this tree started its life?
One of the remaining ancient tall trees of Tasmania, Australia. The eucalyptus tree lives on the north west coast of Tasmania near Dip Falls. It is possibly 800 years old.
I am overjoyed to be able to sit here while my camera is on automatic, in awe of this magnificent tree and give it or it gave me a big hug. They have taught me to dream and understand so much.
The forests they live in are the greatest source of carbon holding banks in the world. We need to see these areas more important than money. They provide free oxygen and a bio-diversity of insects and animal life that expands our creative urges and provide us with adventure and learning.
What are your experiences with trees and are the ones you loved as a child still there?
This is in-between survival and extinction
