The dream goes on!

OK – so I know you might be tired of my football updates but just so you won’t be left out in the dark the Munday Moguls beat the Roscoe Plowboys tonight at the Regional level by a score of 35-27.
It was a killer game just like we figured it would be. The Plowboys have been #2 in the AP rankings all year and Munday has been #4.
My heart was lifted by the good play of all our kids – they never gave up even when they were only 1 point ahead. At the end of the game one of the coaches grabbed my son and just hung on to him for the longest time – it really meant a lot to me considering he’s had a rough go over the past four years in sports. He is getting a lot of credit this year and even the out-of-town radios and TVs have mentioned him.
Anyway, our spirits are soaring so keep your fingers crossed and keep sending up those prayers. The Moguls face the Windthorst Trojans next week in the quarter-finals. The Moguls beat them once this year already but the guys are telling us that they have improved and have a different quarterback. So – it will be another great game at Memorial Stadium in Wichita Falls, Texas next Saturday at 2:00 (yea, day-light makes for better pictures!).
Tonight when everyone drove back into town we all waited in front of City Hall. The firetrucks and police department meet the buses at the over-pass and escorted the boys back into town with sirens screaming and lights flashing. We all were screaming and honking our horns as the kids passed by. They were all hanging out the windows of the buses and had the golden football trophy out the window (sure am glad they didn’t drop it!). Anyway, that is one of the beauties of living in small town Texas – you can do things like that for your kids.
Keep the Moguls in your thoughts.
