Artist's Description

“Discobolus” is a famous Greek sculpture of a discus thrower that was created around 450 B.C., sculptor unknown. It is a greatly imitated sculpture and copies of it in various sizes is found all over the world. This photograph is of an imitation of the sculpture in a small park near the State Department in Washington, D.C.
