John Jay - Quote of the Day!

“Providence has given our people the choice of their rulers,
and it is the duty, as well as privilege and interest,
of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”

Quote by: John Jay
(1745-1829) first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, First President of the United States – preceding George Washington, one of three men most responsible for the US Constitution

This is a bold statement by America’s First Supreme Court Justice.
Have times changed, or have political pressures changed, that this man is now to be considered narrow-minded? People have a right to their opinion and a right to express it. This is the opinion of John Jay, America’s first Supreme Court Justice.

Christians need to begin to speak up for their beliefs, or be prepared to live in a nation that will be very different from the way it was founded.

Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
That is our Godly duty, to speak the truth in Love. People may disagree with the truth, but it is what it is, the truth.
