Artist's Description

Illustration of four colourful sugar skulls. Sugar skulls are part of celebrations of Mexican Dia de Los Muertos (Day of The Dead). Beautifully decorated skulls made of sugar, are offered as gifts to ghosts of the ancestors.

My sugar skulls on this illustration are especially colourful, with lots of detailed decorations and paintings. One skull has even fancy moustaches.

And to be honest – one skull is not entirely skull. It is a cat’s head. Cute cat’s head:)

Traditional painting with acrylic.
