Artist's Description

Holy Trinity, Goodramgate, York
Hidden away through a narrow archway just off the hustle and bustle of the city centre, Holy Trinity is a little oasis of peace and tranquility. The church dates mainly from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries, with some wonderful intact stained glass from the late 1400s. The interior contains a glorious undulating sea of Georgian box pews and a double-deck pulpit. My previous painting was of this interior. If you are ever in York you must take a few moments to visit – you will not regret it! Now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
Pen, ink wash and wax crayon.
