My younger daughter came up with the title to this painting I created back in Albuquerque in 2000. It was another one of a series of paintings I did outdoors in the Sandias. I was really into wiping away the paint from the primed surface and leaving behind a luminous stain of color. I also liked “drawing” into the wet paint with the back of the paintbrush, making lines of light.
