Love Poem (unrequited or otherwise)

Your ghost is calling me, but I cut it all too easily
Here I am. I coast along, so sick of being alone

You’re something primal dear. You’re such a scintillating lover
I go my own way, see you see me
Can I fall alongside
Your deep dark eyes
Your pale white skin
Where do I begin with you?

Just talk some more please, I can hear you deep inside of me
Strain my ears, to hear your sound, every note is profound

You’re so confusing dear; you’re something that I have to puzzle out
I stay close to you, see you see me
Can I try to get inside
Between your thighs
Up to your heart
Let me know how I can start

Why can’t you fall for me, do I watch you all to silently?
I let you go, can’t say a word, thought this is what you’d prefer

You’re something sweet and crazy, something I would break myself to love
I feel so tired, see you see me
Am I running out of time?
I hear you sigh
But you’ll be fine
Just let me try with you
