Artist's Description

this vista of the church of St Peter, otherwise known as York Minster, is only possible due to the City council voting a house clearing scheme years ago to enhance the dignity of the Minster.

You can also see, the horse is also one way to see the sights still and for those who choose to walk, the carriages are allowed into the pedestrian area, so you get to relive how the streets may have been when more horses and live stock roamed the street ;)

Converted into black and white and best viewed large
