Artist's Description

The old stained glass window is revealed in Autumn and Winter when the ivy shrivels up and turns all the gorgeous shades of red, brown and orange before falling off to leave the walls completely bare. The window is covered in mesh, less so to protect against vandals, but to protect it from the vigourous prying of the ivy in springtime.

Gostwyck Chapel, situated on the banks of Salisbury Waters, Gostwyck Station, east of Uralla, Northern Tablelands, NSW, Australia.
