Merry Christmas, 2017

Be it morning, afternoon, evening or night, where ever you are in the world as you read this, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas for this year, and I would also like to ask you to spare a moment’s thought for those who won’t be able to enjoy this time like we do.

Those who are alone; who, through circumstances beyond their control, can’t afford to celebrate; those who are in hospital and are sick or injured; and those who are in war torn countries and regions and aren’t safe.

Be merry, enjoy the company of your family and friends, and the repast before you. Give and receive with thankfulness and, if you see an opportunity, do something to brighten the day of someone less fortunate.

Above all, be safe and look forward to the near year.

Stolen artwork

I received an e-mail which I thought was a bit odd until I read it. Someone had uploaded one of my photos to their gallery on It’s a bit of a two edge sword – it’s one of my favourite and most popular ones but I wasn’t asked for permission.

So, you might want to check out this person:" to see if any of your work is in their galleries – click on the Galleries tab near the top of the page. It seems none of the images are his//hers.

I don’t have a 500px account and I couldn’t find any way to ask that person to delete it from their gallery.

I hope everyone has a

Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

And a Year of free-flowing Creativity.

Thank you

I recently added a photo I took shortly after my husband’s death, a photo which I love, to a few groups I found which had arisen after I originally posted it. In less than a week, it has been commented on, and faved, several times and had a few favouritings only. It has been featured twice, too.

I would like to say a huge “Thank you” to all those who have commented on and faved it, and to the Group Hosts who featured it. I’m very appreciative and honoured.

Red Bubble is an amazing place. :-)
