Artist's Description

I made this t-shirt/sticker design with Wordle. A conversation starter for those who are against overpopulation of pets – or human beings ;).

TNR (trap – neuter -release, or trap – neuter -return) is a method that is used to reduce the number of stray cats and dogs. Neutered animals are returned to the same environment where they were collected, and they keep the territory occupied, reducing possibilities for successful reproduction of unneutered individuals. It is considered a more humane alternative for elimination of the animals.

Approximately 80% of cats and dogs that exist in the world don’t have homes. In many countries street animals are killed in most inhumane ways or collected to “shelters”, where they are forced to live in horrendeous conditions, without proper care, until they die of starvation or diseases.

I will donate the proceeds of this design to homeless animals in Europe. We can’t save them all, but we can save some of them.
