Artist's Description

The International Peace Garden in North Dakota includes a memorial to the victims of the 911 terror bombing of civilians in New York City. The twisted and gnarled beams in the photograph are artifacts from the World Trade Center. The two towers in the background are the International Peace Towers that in the garden, mark the boundary between the United States and Canada. The peace towers bear an frightening resemblance to the twin towers of the World Trade Center.
