Artist's Description

Two people wearing djellabas watching the sun rise from a sand dune over the Sahara.

“Oh ! I had the strangest dream
it came one starry midnight
Men and women all joined hands in peace and loving friendship
all broken hearts were mended
all broken bodies healed
River, mountain, rocks rejoiced
the bells of freedom peeled!”
~ Kavisha Mazzella, Love & Justice

I intentionally shot this into the strong light of the sun rising as I wanted the silhouette of the women in their Djellabas to show. I was pleased with the effect of the light filtering through the fabric of djellaba on the right also.
