SELF INFLICTIONS

Wallowing in self pity
Is not the way to go
You’ll only sink deeper down my friend
As you should already know

People have their own life to live
Which is hard all ways around
No one can take anyone’s hand
And lead them along in this land

Only Jesus can do that task
As through the valley of death one goes
In life it is up to one’s self
To form their own life’s path
And not rely on another
For their only form
Of relief and laughs

Life is hard on everyone
You’re not alone in that
But only you can change your lot
To what you get or want

And wallowing in self pity
Is not the way to go
That’s full force negativity
As God and Jesus know.
