In this dream I had as a child I was told that I was worth my weight in gold. To me, this simply means that what I put into life I will be rewarded for in life. It means the same as the old saying; ‘As you sow so shall you reap’.

It also meant to me that my worth would be judged by the weight of my doing. Good for good or bad for bad. The saying representing this would be; ‘As you give so shall you receive’.

Therefore if I give out bad (evil) energy such as unkindness, impatience, hurtful thoughts, envy, jealousy to name a few then I will receive back that bad energy in like kind of what I put out in the first place.

The ego mind will take those actions on and I may see them in others but only because those good or bad emotions were in my own egoic mind set first.

If I give out good energy such as kindness, happiness, thoughtfulness, gratitude, appreciation, love in the sense of meaning not wanting or needing, then I will receive good energy in like kind in return as the reflection of those actions and deeds.

This is what is meant in psychology when it is said people are mirroring themselves. They see unwanted traits in others without realizing those unwanted traits are actually coming from their own perspective of themselves, as they have not learnt to overcome their ego and live from their true self without judgment and therefore are not really seeing or getting to know any others as their own judgments are playing against them from their ego, the unconscious mind state.

The clock represents that I would learn more about this dream in my life experiences throughout time, which these years on I can honestly say that I have learnt from observing the experiences that have come to my life.
