Artist's Description

When the show is over and the night draws in,
Who will be there waiting as the curtain falls?
Who will be in the darkness?
When the illusion of the show breaks?

Let it be you my love, my constant one.
Resting on your shore,
I share the stillness and the peace.
In the warmth let our hearts open,
Like a flower being called by the spring.

Life is as fragile as a flame caught in a breeze,
Let us waste no time.
For to live is too share, so let us sit in our nakedness,
In our honesty and truth.
It is only here that the true beauty is seen,
A beauty eternal unfaded nor perish by the certainty of time.

Let us trust and share our truths,
An invitation into the rooms of one another’s hearts.
In this space let us look upon life full of possibility,
As endless as the vast sky at night.
Let me learn not to love myself in you nearness,
But to love you in yourself.

And when the rain falls, let us know that it is only rain,
look fearlessly to the sky and feel the freshness on our faces.
May you always be my constant, through sorrow and joy,
My brother, my mother, my sister, my boy.
