Artist's Description

Lay a space at your table,
For each passing stranger.
For everyone one of them is a pilgrim,
On the great journey home.

Prince or pauper, woman or man,
Treat each like a king and crown them with your love.
When you see only yourself in the eyes of each one of them,
You will then recognize that God has been with you all along.
Waiting in each face, pointing to the truth that you and I are one.

Look beyond the judgments that blinker your world,
Then each encounter will be a holy encounter.
Recognize that when you see anything other than love,
You are but viewing a reflection of your own discontent.

Serve each one of the with your body and with your blood,
Be willing to give to them your very soul.
For it is only in service does the false self fall away,
And glory returns once more to the kingdom,
Hailing triumphantly “You are home, you are home, you are home”.
