Artist's Description

My experience with Catholic Nuns goes back to my first few grades in grammar school.Even as a young child they didn’t make any sense to me.Frustrated old woman wearing black outfits. With Rosary Beads to communicate with Jesus and wielding a wooden ruler to communicate with me.
So when I received the Title “Dead Nuns Gone Wild” I thought: Finally revenge for all those smacks on the knuckles .But that’s not the case at all. In fact I have no desire for revenge.I even cherish the memories of those early years.
Now they’re back.No longer restricted by symbolism’s of religion.
But rather unrestricted by their Unity with God.
When the time came to enroll me in the first grade I had my first Nun encounter and explained to her “It was a free country and I didn’t have to go to school”. At this point my father who should of understood my stand for liberty, gave me a spanking and signed me into school anyway. This image is that first Nun come back to haunt me.She was the school princpal and I know she’s bringing all her “troops” with her.because a few of the paintings are already finished. I will post them as I receive the messages that accompany them. Peace, Jeff
