Adelaide, Australia

A post 70 year old (and ‘sometimes’ photographer) living in Adelaide who is rescued by her able camera … a faithful...

I enjoy the influence of the East on Western culture, art and exercise methodologies. Perhaps it is not surprising that I have dabbled with Chinese Brush painting and teach well-being through a movement program based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles – and I am a freelance Pilates instructor. Family is very important to me even though we are scattered around Australia!!
In December of 2014 at the age of 72 I married Geoffrey and we live in the beautiful suburb of Wattle Park in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, essentially in the lower foothills with a view over the city. We are indeed blessed.
A trip to Europe in 2007 to attend a Convention to celebrate ten years of the ChiBall MethodTM in Lausanne, just gave me a hint of how a world opens up when you look through a viewfinder. I was at that point using a Pentax Optio750Z, and was surprised by some of the results.
I have invested in a Nikon D90. The camera outstrips my expertise but I am enjoying myself immensely. Post production is also very new to me and I really appreciate those members who provide information.
