Artist's Description

The Tech Stuff – - – Canon G11 compact camera – RAW – Wide-Angle Lens (6mm) – - – PhotoSlam to stitch the final pix – - – 3-one-step bracketed snaps blended using High-Dynamic-Range software to shave off eleven hours of workflow (PhotoMatix Prod) – - – two gallons of mucilage for gluing-up prints to the wheels of our new ‘51 Willys Rat-Rod pick-up to drive through troughs of multicolored inks for the unique signature – - – long-yet-shallow troughs for driving through – - – 61 bottles of "Her-Majesty’s Royal Inks of the gods" inks to fill the troughs – - – one pair of blue rubber-gloves to keep ink off me hands – - – and one Drew Estate Robusto cigar for me to enjoy while working ~:0)

The Story – - – Come the right weather and that old Texas Hill Country will grow some great cloud formations – this particular symmetrical-pairing makes for a pretty exciting Panorama!
The image here on the site is a pale reflection of how this Photograph looks as a full resolution print. The full-scale Panoramic Print is wide and puts a major cloud formation on your wall like U wouldn’t believe! U got the whole sky up there!! ~:0)

Key to having a nice panorama like this as a print is to get it as large as U can so that it’s thirty inches or more in width – having it mounted is key as well so the thing shows off it’s quality and drama! Anyway this bewdy was shot over Medina lake, smack in the middle of the Texas Hill Country and I just can’t stop staring at it. It’s very cool ~:0) VivaChas!
