No pen pal of mine...

We shared many summers of love.

A love that I we had never really known.
Your lips danced across my face.

Down my neck around my nipples to my private place.

More than Hi-fives, more than simple hellos.

Oh you were no pen pal of mine

You went home said you’d return.

Left me with memories but not dreams deferred.

Summer again, baby we were more than just friends.

But no further than second base would I let you go.

Respect me, and court me from afar.

Remember when we made that wish on one falling star.

Parted ways as summers went by.

Others in our lives but our love wouldn’t die.

Crossed paths again much older now.

Though I can’t say more wise.

The only thing between us now is new holiness found.

A letter, a ring.

Rode that iron pimp from afar.

For took not my but your vows.

Love brought us down.

As I gave you for the first time but all of me.

My rain poured from your touch.

Ran down your leg and mine.

Found it’s home between the valley of my thighs.

Soaked were the sheets, sweaty were we.

Only thing now was a child to be.

Not the last time, but the first time conceived.

Had one more but not by me…

You see we could not be.

Didn’t happen the way that you say…

But yes sweet nothings for us drifted away.

Say what you want, but I’ll tell him what I know.

Love you were no pen pal of mine!

No pen pal of mine...
