You’re right, it does look like it’s in sun-like light – I hadn’t thought of that, only that I really liked the effect and that it was a bit blurry (it’s not a macro – my phone camera doesn’t have that, unfortunately!), and so lent itself to being kind of ‘glowy’ and, I think, ‘old’ looking. Thanks again :-)
Imagine how simple it would have been to have presented this image without augmentation. And then imagine how much would have been lost. I can imagine a shimmering world here in an image taken at night from space. A world attached to an umbilical to … where?
i confess i like the treatment, it seperates this from the thousands of other still life dandelion shots. Almost has a starburst quality in the details….
