Artist's Description

Taken 19th April2010 from Mount Edgecombe Churchyard on the Rame Peninsular, SE Cornwall looking towards Plymouth Sound where you can see the lighthouse at Plymouth Breakwater.
This is HMS Campbeltown leaving Plymouth UK. on a Mercy Mission to pick up holiday makers stranded in Spain due to the eruption of a volcano in Iceland.

HMS Campbeltown was a Batch 3 Type 22 frigate of the British Royal Navy. Built by Cammell Laird Shipbuilders Ltd. in Birkenhead, she was part of the third batch of Type 22s, which were considerably larger than their predecessors and incorporated more advanced weaponry after lessons learnt from the Falklands War. She was decommissioned on 7 April 2011.

Tried to give this a vintage feel
Edited from Raw in CS3 Added texture and Converted to sepia,
Into Picasa3 for Film Grain Effect.
Camera used Pentax K200D.
