Slings and Arrows

Slings and arrows shot clearly at my bleeding heart,
I fall to my knees as the mud splatters on my face,
The blood from my bleeding wound flows down my chest,
As it reaches the ground it stains the dry brown grass,

Excruciating pian spreads as fast as lighting through my dying body,
I fall forward, the arrows digging deeper into my flesh,
My face rests in the mud as the arrows break though the flesh in my back,

As I float up towards the clouds,
I see myself lying face down in the mud,
There is no bright light above me,
Just a crack forming beneath my feet as I start to fall.
