ABOUT ME

While I was a student living in Baghdad with my family, I received money from my great grandmother and decided to buy a camera. The gift proved to be one of the most influential gifts I have received as it encouraged me to take up photography. When I was 15, I made extra money from babysitting and representing Canadian companies at festivals and trade shows. I saved up my money and bought a SLR camera from my favourite camera shop in Hong Kong.

I have developed my photography skills while living in Canada, Japan, Barbados, Iraq and the Philippines; and while traveling. I have exhibited my paintings and photography in Ottawa, Manila, Tokyo, Yokohama and Vancouver.

Most of the images that I have shared here focus on the Pacific Northwest – with a few coming from other parts of the world.
