Welcome to a new kind of superhero who protects the environment!
The design is made from a cyanotype print, which is a very old process that involves mixing light sensitive chemicals, applying the chemicals to paper, adding a negative, and then exposing the paper and negative to sunlight. After about 12 minutes in the sun, this particular print was washed and hung to dry. No two cyanotypes come out the same — each one is unique. The original image used for the negative was shot on a beautiful day on Mount Baldy, California on January 2, 2013.
