Stick's and Stone's.

Dig it up,
dig up the rich black pungent Earth
that smell’s like it should
unlike our perfumed selves
let it’s wet, moldy, cold and dank aroma
slip up our olfactory preconception’s
let’s slip & slide down it’s ancient trigger’s
let’s see what we are
was it our dream’s that shaped us?
or was it the mud?
was it the desire to climb through the sky?
or just the need to escape the mire?
did we desire to design?
did we long to lie?
did we long for the star’s?
did we weary of walking?
was it our heart and mind?
was it our gut’s in our stead?

Buried in the past
is our birthing
and covered in history
is our birthright
where should we look
for our ultimate destiny?
the depth’s of our heart’s?
the longing’s of our nature?
in the circumstance’s of our present?
in the beauty of our world?

Dig it up, and see what you find
search and discover, whatever you will
the cold dark secret’s of our soul’s
still lie waiting in the soil of our heart’s
cold dark chasm’s of dripping stoney cell’s
where ancient prisoner’s await our rescuing
with horrible secret’s holding them in chain’s
they await our truth to set us free
for they are the judges of
our soul’s you see
and until they are freed
nor shall we be.

Stick's and Stone's.
