Sirens of the Weave.

A seamless lie of perfect dreams
knitted to a warped reality
is singing a song of hope
into the fabricated waves
of hope that crash upon
my bespoken thoughts
of invented futures

Sirens of the weave and warp
of my soul learn a foreign language
pirated from my crimson ears
painted in bloody curses
with history’s heard
from graves dug out of
the air of lives lived
before my voice
protested against
their inherited words.

I would project audibly,
my spirit, forthwith,
via a shout of independence,
but my meanings are muted
as they fall upon the deaf ears
of the blinded skulls
of those who would
perhaps hear,
if they had been able
to see the words
that I speak,
but they have been
born without
ears to hear,
the truth.

Sirens of the Weave.
