Where I’m going for the holidays…the last wild place where all of us can laugh and dance—welcome home—that is what I will feel a warm sweet smelling wind and I will run and feel so fine so many smiles to welcome me because all of us know what it feels like to fight for what is right and know what it feels like to lose a battle too, so here we go we will dance and we will laugh and be happy here and be wild in this place and be grateful for the sweet joyful memories that we created together, thank you.

A photo I took of a sign that faces a person when they must choose whether to turn left or right in downtown Tacoma, Washington.

This sign represents for me what I feel many in our community want all of us to do, what we strive to do in our community now—to really love something, to really love each other and help each other.

Our community is a vibrant community that is like many communities facing struggles and learning how to join together to find new ways to meet challenges and to work together to connect and become better, healthier, and what they are realizing is that once they reach out, once they do connect and try something new they find out how much they are alike, how much they do need each other and how much easier it is to really love something.
