Serendipity is a propensity for making fortunate discoveries while looking for something unrelated.

We were at our local park in Tacoma, WA visiting Camp 6 which is a Historical Landmark dedicated to preserving the history of those who worked in the Pacific Northwest logging industry.

As my husband and I walked through the first snow of the year to spend some precious time together…I was walking through the area designated for Camp 6 relics from the past and I came upon this huge monster of logging equipment.

I cannot explain to you exactly what struck me about it at that time, but it did make an impact that moved me profoundly.

I exclaimed to my husband “this is it!”

“This is going to be our project!”
