Self portrait
I show you a woman-myself-“Seeking Self” series

I was inspired to create my self portrait because I wanted to know if I could find meaning and answers (especially at this point in my life) in my eyes.

I wondered what might my eyes might reveal to me? Would they guide me? Would they provide recognition of my existence? Would my eyes reveal to me the truth?

I thought to myself (while I did this rapid ink drawing/painting) that it was important for me to look and to seek.

I let my hand and my thoughts and my mind create my self portrait.

MEDIUM:
walnut ink on 140lb watercolor paper.
