Who wins the Race

In a square concrete box
I strain to see the sun
Watching life drain through my fingers
Hearing small voices drowning
In a big company ocean
I offer a hand
but the brand stamped on me
Does nothing to save them
They float away
Leaving their negative slime
clinging to my body
Unable to scrub it off
i sit in gross filthiness
Trying not to drown with them
searching for the sun

Artist's Description

I work for a big company in its award winning building. Funny how all the awards in the world sometimes mean nothing.
