This picture was taken inside the entrance to Elk Island National Park (Edmonton, AB). The intent of the trip was to take picutres of the norther lights (as the magnetic activity for the day was very high). On the way to a nice open spot to view the northern lights, this caught my eye. The sun was gone, and fog covered the area. This is what I saw.
