Artist's Description

Sir Wilfred Laurier isn’t known as Mr. FiveDollarBill for nothing! Not only did he invent the Beaver, a cherished symbol of this land, but as the seventh Prime Minister of Canada, he also invented my home province of Alberta, and Saskatchewan, originally as a home for his beavers to live in, as they were ravaging downtown Toronto, and not in a good way, like a Broken Social Scene concert.

Laurier was always my favorite PM in school so I’ve be excited to paint him for ages!

This version has a title so everyone knows who you are wearing!
