I started being serious about photography back in 1996, but my interest started about 12 years before then when a family friend lent me his Praktika 35mm camera [which had been stolen from a German soldier during WW2.]

As a photographer I predominantly work in Black & White with a preference for old architecture, landscapes and portraiture,

I have travelled around the world photographing locations in:

  1. Canada [Vancouver Island, Highway1, and Golden BC].
  2. East Coast USA [New York, Boston, Maine/New England Region].
  3. West Coast USA [San Francisco, Big Sur, Bryce Canyon, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon].
  4. England [London].
  5. Spain [Barcelona, Northeast Coast].
  6. France [Langeudoc/Southeast Region, Cote D’azur].
  7. Italy [Genoa, Florence, Rome].
  8. Hong Kong.
  9. Jordan [Petra, Jerash, Wadi Rum].

The two people who have been most influential for me in photography are my Aunt Marilyn for inspiring me to buy my first camera, and the Australian Master of Photography – Ruby Spowart for teaching me about Black & White photography.

Why I'm so disappointed with RedBubble (not)

Ok, the first disappointment is that the very first shirt I ordered from RB TEN years ago is still going strong. Ok its got a couple of moth holes in it, but it has never pulled a thread or come undone or anything bad. Even the print is still good and legible. / My first ever purchase from RedBubble: “Dont talk to me for I am Ninja” by Rawbun / clicky hyperlinky / Ok, the material is …

New look for my Portfolio after 10 years

Well, its official… I have been on RedBubble for 10 years as of a couple of days ago. / No fanfare, no free flights to Melbourne to meet Martin Hosking, not even a free sticker in the mail… oh well … maybe if I had actually sold more… / To commemorate this occasion I have cleaned out my portfolio. All the old B&W stuff is mostly gone – I have only kept those imag…
