Artist's Description

Unlike all other churches I know, this church was named after two saints; Volodymyr and Olha. Set in a nice quiet Ukrainian neighborhood on the north side of Chicago, this seemingly hidden quiet gem with beautiful colors within its interior walls was a pleasure to view. The church was built in a Byzantine architectural style complete with the blue, gold, and reds, that all have special meaning. The blues are what is most striking to me especially how they are accented by borders of gold.
