Many houses in the UK had windows bricked up after the introduction of the window tax. For some reason modern builders seem to think it’s cool to include them in the properties they build today.
This house is probably Victorian, so a genuine one, and it’s believed the phrase “daylight robbery” may have come about because of the tax.
I’ve decided for the time being that I’ll not spend time just saying thanks when someone comments on my work. Far better I feel to spend time looking at their portfolio & enjoying & commenting on their work.
