Artist's Description

This is Mr. Miller’s High School Art Class piece that started the whole Burning City thing. This particular version is a slight reconstruction to repair some of the damage the original has taken in the last 25 years, but leaving the majority of minor scratches and tears. Ms. Taberna believes the image is best left completely untouched, and this Reconstructed version is the product of a compromise between the two. However, to keep Ms. happy, Mr. has decided to also offer a completely un-edited version with all the damage in place, including the original cut and torn paper bordering the image.

The Ms. Taberna 25yrs of Damage Version is available here:

Mr. Miller would like to sincerely thank his high school art teacher, Mrs. Helen (Crippen) Goodman for being, possibly, the single most influential person in his formative years, outside of his family, of course. This piece and virtually every other thing he has created would have suffered greatly without her expert tutelege. And this piece in particular was created using her personal oil pastels which, along with the rest of her supplies, she allowed him to pilfer. For the abuse of this privelege, Mr. Miller wishes to sincerely apologize.
