No Escape

She leaded a life of misery and pain. She felt there was no escape; it was like somebody dug a hole to the core of the earth and threw her in, no light just obscurity. She looked up to her father as a child, she saw him as her hero; as time grew and so did she things seemed to change. He became self-centred, became too proud to yet put his arms around her and tell her he loves her. He went from a loving, adoring father to a deceiving monster. At times she’d just sit and think to herself, did she ever do anything to dishonour him? Did she ever say anything to not make him proud? Did she deserve to be treated that way?

He doesn’t accept her for who she is at heart nor as a person, he has demand on her life and theirs nothing she can do about it. His words crush her soul & self-esteem to an extent she feels no remorse to reveal her inner self, to express the way she really feels instead of hiding behind a smile.

She was always told to stay strong, to hold on and faith may lead the way to a happier prospect but yet as her life fades before her eyes she’s left with no other choice but to believe that her life will not become what she has always dreamed it would. She had no other choice but to believe it would not become a happier place.
