Artist's Description

Taken in my back garden as a series of 10 second exposures, stacked together with StarTrails and cleaned up in Photoshop CS3. You won’t be able to see it here, but there are in fact two trails – one for the International Space Station and one for the Space Shuttle that had recently undocked. It was unfortunate that it wasn’t a cloud free evening.

The times when you can see various satellites can be found at http://www.heavens-above.com.
