Ann Cooper

Born and raised in New Mexico, I have a passionate love for the desert Southwest, while being inspired by Native American and Mexican art and culture. My mother’s art along with Georgia O'Keefe are my greatest influences, perhaps because I spent a great deal of time at Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico, where O'Keefe lived and painted. Now, living in North Carolina, I have the best of both worlds: the desert of my cherished memories and the present lush, floral green of the South.
