Taken on the ferry crossing to Islay from Kennacraig ( on the Mull of Kintyre) these three Paps come into view as we sailed past the southern end of Jura on a beautiful evening.
The three main Paps are over 750 m while the two smaller ones are approximately 200m less. The higher two Paps are not easy to climb as there is a 7 mile hike from the Feolin Ferry ( no road in that direction) before you start the climb.
Islay, Colonsay, and Jura of the Inner Hebrides are within easy reach by ferry and in summer time are linked across the Mull of Kintyre to Arran by the Cloanaig Ferry. Best viewed large.
A thank you to the person who bought this. Picture perfect weather.
