Out on the river for an evening hoping to see the crocs, hippos and all nightlife, I was not disappointed. The sun set and the night sounds were amazing – with just the gentle shushing at the sides of the boat as we floated downstream – you could hear the night birds calling from the trees and the movements at the edges of the river . We did see crocs and hippos and a lone elephant coming down for a late night drink, but it was the ‘feeling’ and earth smells of Africa so often talked about that will stay with me – I want to go back.

No Laurie – I don’t have anything like that – just lightened it a little as the left side was much darker .
