Artist's Description

On a recent holiday with the family in North Cumbria, we stopped at Hadrian’s Wall which marks the old boarder of England and Scotland. It was a fantastic day out, even if the sun wasn’t shinning, Whist my wife and daughter enjoyed a cup of tea, my boys and I went or a walk along the way for some way, As we reached the brow of a hill, I looked back and saw this wonderful view and just had to capture it. As I sat editing my photos the next day, I processed this shot and decided I would try a bit of Selective Colouring. In the end I liked the result, giving the image a very atmospheric quality that fits the historical scene. Please let me know what you think…..
