Lost In The Night

Like A Ship Passing In The Night,
Yearning For Home Among The Harbors Lights,
A Feeling That Burns So Bright,
With A Need So Desperately Right,
Only To Turn Away In Fearful Flight.

Is This A Flaw In Me?
Not Knowing Who Or What I Should Be,
Too Scared To Stay In One Place And See,
Before Fleeing Back To The Sea,
As Sadness Brings Me To A Knee.

Searching For What’s Inside Me,
That One Thing, That Will Let Me Be,
The Spirit, The World Was Meant To See,
A Shining Light That Will Set Me Free.

This Feeling Stirs Restless Inside,
Wanting More Than Just To Stride,
Along Life’s Path By My Side,
Echoing The Emptiness Of An Oceans Tide.

It’s Deep In The Soul,
This Thing That Is Gods Goal,
A Purpose That Makes You Whole,
Your Spirits Life Waiting To Be Shown.

Like A Ship Lost In The Night,
We Have To Find A Way To Make It Right,
Find That Spirit In You That Is Your Light,
To Live Your Life As God Might.
